The Company:
Our client is a leading engineering contractor and project integrator for the power industry, providing design, manufacture, installation and commissioning for a wide range of equipment for the power generation market. They are looking for a Project Engineering Manager to join their Project Engineering team to ensure delivery of subcontractor engineering work, to meet the client design requirements.

The Role:
Working alongside the Process Manager, the Engineering Manager reports to the Project Director who provides the key interface with the customer. The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for the monitoring and controlling the execution of detailed work-plans derived from a Reference Product Model or Adapted Product Model.

As a Project Engineering Manager your main duties will involve:

• Monitoring, controlling and anticipating issues relating to functional performance, technical interfaces and systems operation.
• Working with the Delivery Project Management team and Project Management Board to deal with issues, adapt to changes and exploit opportunities in the best global interest.
• Managing the transition between product adaptation and handover of the finished APM to the delivery team, requiring early input to ensure all issues are anticipated and the customer sees a seamless transition to delivery mode.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Experience working in a Project Engineering Management function.
• Team Leadership experience with proven record of delivery on time and budget.
