The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The TVM Project Engineer will manage a number of key cost reduction projects to deliver the agreed SSA yearly target.

This role will include the generation and definition of suitable projects, including collaboration with the Component Engineers & Technical Specialists to assess all cost reduction ideas and generating the total cost reduction business case. This will require strong project management and effective use of relationships both internally and externally (suppliers) to achieve a robust and timely outcome. Reporting of progress will also be required to local and senior management.

Experience Required:

- Degree-level engineering qualification or equivalent
- IT Skills - Microsoft software skills, excel, power point, etc

Experience Preferred:
- TVM (Cost Reduction) Experience
- Advanced MS Excel user (Pivot tables, etc)
- OEM Experience - Knowledge of client systems preferred (AIMS, WERS, CCR, FIRR etc)
- Supplier relationships/management
- Knowledge of Chassis Suspension Structures.

Chassis Engineering is responsible for the design and release of a number of key vehicle systems such as Suspension Systems Architecture (SSA), Suspension System Tuning (SST), Braking, Steering Wheels and Tyres (SWAT) and Axle Concepts and Chassis System Integration (AC&CSI). Within Suspension Systems Architecture, the teams are responsible for design and development of frames, suspension bushes, engine mounts, control arms, wheel hubs, knuckles, cross axis joints, ball joints and bearings for all client platforms. We are design authors for our components and therefore our primary function is ground-up design and release of all these components from concept through detail design and into production.
