The Role:
Project HSE Lead for a large multi-year Greenfield project due for sanction in
Successful implementation of both Company and Clients HSE expectations
throughout all project phases.

Main Duties:
• The provision of proactive HSE advice and support to the project management Teams.
• Actively manage the Environmental, Technical Safety and Quality inputs into the Project.
• The focal point for Regulatory Authorities and the positive management of these relationships.
• Continuous improvement, development and implementation of the both the Project and Company HSE policies, processes
and procedures.
• Provide additional HSE auditing resource.
• Co-ordinate and Facilitate all necessary Safety Study Work, HAZOP, HAZID,ENVID, Risk Assessments etc. as may
be required by the project.
• Assist in Preparation of and complete technical review of the HSE Sections of all applicable project tender documentation.
• Provision of guidance to ensure HSE Statutory compliance within project teams activities including the development
and management of a permits and consents register.
• Liaison with Governmental Agencies and non Governmental bodies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Well proven and competent level of HSEQ theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
• FPSO experience preferable but not essential.
• Experience of UKCS offshore development projects essential.
• Working knowledge of UK statutory requirements advantageous.
• Familiar with management system requirements.
• Ability to influence situations out with direct control.
• Willing to adopt a collegiate approach to HSEQ issues.
• Confident Communicator with good listening skills.
• Have a good balance between knowledge and the ability to communicate that
• Be prepared to travel nationally, internationally and offshore as and when
• Preferably degree qualified, or equivalent in Health and Safety
• IOSH Qualified.
• Hold NEBOSH Diploma/competent equivalent or be willing to work towards that.
• Working towards membership of relevant Institute.
