The Company:
Our client is the leading engineering technology solutions and turnkey contracting provider in Asia Pacific for the design and construction of hydrocarbon field development, oil refining, gas processing, petrochemicals and selected non-hydrocarbon projects. They support Onshore, Offshore and Subsea sectors.

The Role:
The role and accountabilities may include but are not limited to:

•Develop a comprehensive project HSE plan and other associated documents based on the standardized CompanyHSE procedures, corporate HSE Manual, contractual requirements and statutory and regulatory requirements, meeting OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards.
•Provide specialist advice and supports to project teams on all HSE matters as directed by Senior Regional HSE Manager, Asia Pacific / Project Manager.
•Track the progress of HSE actions and programmes under your charge and report back to Senior Regional HSE Manager, Asia Pacific / Project Manager.
•Ensure effective HSE implementation at site and offer support / guidance to projects nominated to be audited, inspected and or visited.
•Feed back to Senior Regional HSE Manager, Asia Pacific / Project Manager the project’s HSE statistics and performance including strength and weakness. Ensure all projects reporting is clearly shown in the project’s organization chart.
•Conduct HSE awareness inductions to project team to highlight HSE policies, objectives, targets and performance indicators.
•Conduct training and awareness session covering all aspects of HSE including specific risk managements work shops and the delivery of Pulse training sessions.
•Design training modules as required.
•Carry our audits and inspections as identified by Corporate HSE Manual and or as decided by Senior corporate HSE Manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•University degree in occupational health and safety and or equivalent degree in Health Safety and Environment.
•Minimum of 5 years working experience and a further 5 years practical hand on project experience that would include working across Civil, Construction, Operational, Pre- Commissioning and Commissioning under Subsea, Onshore and Offshore.
•An excellent communicator and strong training ability to coach and mentor others.
MUST be able to speak and write Chinese Mandarin
