The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project HSE Manger, to join a major operator working on the construction side of their very latest LNG project in Darwin. Using your knowledge and experience, you will have responsibility for providing HSE support to the Package Managers and providing HSE assurance over EPC Contractor’s execution activities.

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the wider company HSE function and advising Project Directors on specific Onshore Project HSE issues when these arise.
• Assuring implementation on the HSE Management System within Onshore Division and contributing to its development as necessary.
• Functionally managing HSE Advisors engaged in Onshore Packages.
• Implementing and monitoring HSE objectives, targets and performance standards and monitoring and verification programs, to ensure company HSE expectations are being achieved by EPC Contractors and Subcontractors across the Onshore Packages.
• Supporting Onshore package HSE Leads to develop and implement HSE processes, procedures, plans and emergency response documentation which are aligned with Project and company requirements for each package.
• Assuring development of HSE culture within the Onshore Division and alignment with the rest of the business.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you will require at minimum a tertiary qualification related to Occupational Health and Safety, along with extensive demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following key areas:
• A minimum 15 years’ relevant professional experience within major projects at an EPCM and/or Client level.
• Experience in providing HSE assurance on major projects, with previous LNG experience desirable.
• Experience of Incident and Injury Free (IIF) process.
• Previous experience in leading and managing HSE professionals, with strong skills in management , relationship building and networking effectively with diverse stakeholders.
