Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
Basic Purpose of Job:
o Provide occupational health, safety, environmental and quality support to UK Client operations and projects for modifications to existing facilities and new builds.
o Provide occupational health, safety, environmental and quality support to the project construction teams at Client on and offshore facilities.
o To provide safety cover for holidays.

Main Duties:
o Act as focal point for all project-related HSEQ issues.
o Deliver and ensure system and procedural compliance.
o Assist Assignment Manager in HSEQ stats for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
o Coordinate and undertake HSE inductions for on and offshore personnel.
o Ensure timely incident reporting and provide initial incident investigations where possible.
o Facilitate occupational health monitoring.
o Produce and deliver annual HSE and quality plans, by completion of campaigns, audits, surveys etc.
o Enter, review and advise on client Actions to AM and UK BM as required.
o Champion office safety including company and client TALK systems
o Identify and share lessons learned as required.
o Promote company core values and take a lead in the delivery of all HSEQ initiatives.
o Act as a liaison point for UK HSE Manager and the assignment and with client SHE&SR staff.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
o Current UKOOA-approved offshore medical certificate.
o Current Offshore Survival certificates.
o Safety qualification - NEBOSH and/or NVQ Level 4 OHSP.
o Technical qualification - ONC or HNC desirable.
o MIST training.
o Good technical knowledge.
o Understand Root Cause Analysis.
o Understand UK HSE legislation and ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management.
o Good audit skills, lead auditor desirable.
o Proven experience in Oil and Gas within HSEQ function.
o Previous offshore experience essential.
o Competent in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
o Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
