The Role:
This is a highly complex project with a very high degree of projects and operational interfacing with multiple contractor management

All aspects of Project HSE on a major project.

- accountable for the development of the project specific HSSE Strategy and Plan for implementation at various stages of the project. The HSSE Advisor will support the project Engineering Manager in assuring that the development meets company PMS (Project Management System), they will be the owner of the project HSSE Strategy and Plan. Overseeing the overall project HSSE Management System including the Contractors and involved parties.
- Identifying schedules for audits and monitoring of HSSE activities undertaken by the Project Management Team (PMT), including commitments made in the Environmental Statement (ES) and other regulatory requirements.
- Identifying schedules for HSSE audits and monitoring of Contractors’ HSE Plans.
- Ensuring that Contractors employ competent personnel in safety critical roles, and have a system for on-going competency assurance.
- Ensuring that formal Safety studies and reviews are carried out by the Contractor/Third Parties during project FEED and Detail Design stages and Combined Operations (ComOps) including QRA, Fire & Explosion Analysis, Escape, Muster, Evacuation and Rescue (EMER) assessment, Dropped Objects study, etc. To ensure the risks to personnel during execution, operation and maintenance are tolerable and as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP).
- Ensuring that the risks to the environment are minimised as far as reasonably practicable.
- Safety Case update, review and submission to the HSE on behalf of the Duty Holder.
- Risk management during all stages of the project ensuring that individual risk to personnel is ALARP prior to first production.
- Incident reporting and investigations as appropriate.
- Responsible for the development and updating the Project PLANC (Permits, Licenses, Applications, Notifications & Consents) register and day-to-day liaison with the UKU HSSE Team members to ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Offshore Project HSSE Lead/Manager experience
Experience with mobile accommodation units, offshore construction, TAR’s and operations
