The Role:
The Project Information Managment Lead (PIML) will design and execute Project Information Management on this North Sea project, including Design Document Control, Supplier Document Control, Engineering Data Systems, input into maintenance build, 3D Modeling, and managing the DFO Process.

Key Accountabilities
• Working as an integral part of the project management team
• Defining and creating the Information Management plans, processes, procedures and contractual instruments to successfully execute Information Management on the Project. These shall include but are not limited to:
o Design Document Control and Interface control;
o Supplier Document Control;
o Master Data Management of Engineering Data;
o Acquisition of Supplier data and documents from the supply chain;
o Introduction and management of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS);
o 3D model management and integration;
o Correspondence Control;
o Interface Control, Engineering Queries Interface Queries, Site Queries;
o Implementation of technologies to support Information management and training on such systems, including engineering systems.
• Input into project contracts at tender stage to stipulate client Information Management requirements, and evaluation and scoring tender responses
• Manage third party contractors in the execution of all Information Management activities, including data quality metrics, measurement and reporting. Mobilization of key contractors IM Function
• Advise on manpower levels to provide Information Management processes
• Develop Project quality procedures for Information Management providing definitive guidance on how activities should be performed
• Develop a Data for Operations process and suite of documents that ensures that a lifecycle approach to information is adopted through all project phases through to a seamless transition to Operate
• Develop and implement an Electronic Document Management System and workflow to manage engineering deliverables from the Project through to handover to Operate (based on the TVP technology solution)
• Develop and implement a Project Data Warehouse to capture all master engineering data, and ensure processes are in place to populate the warehouse to an agreed level of data quality and completeness
• Develop a Class Library for the project that defines all engineering and supplier data to be collected as part of the project, and the relationally of Participation in Project Reviews
• Management reporting of contractor performance, DFO status, document and data status, and interface status. Expediting. Contract monitoring and control

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Long term experience working within the hydrocarbon industry, extensively in managing the implementation of Information Management on major capital projects.
• Expertise in electronic document management systems, Master Data Management, 3D CAD, DFO and LCI.
Knowledge, Languages, Skills and Attributes
• In depth knowledge of project planning and reporting, Document Control, Project data Management, engineering Registers, Engineering Design Tools, Databases, 3D Modeling, Site and Offshore project work faces, statutory document and data requirements
• Business acumen and contractual awareness
• Strong communicator with a team player mindset and able to work in a multi-cultural environment
• The ability to communicate clearly & confidently in English is essential
• Able to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with internal peers and contractors to influence decisions or ways of working
• Able demonstrate the ability to manage complex document and data in
