The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the facilitation and coordination of project activities within the acoustics engineering team.

Scope of the Role

• Maintaining and managing the project Vehicle Usage Plans (VUP) to ensure project requirements are captured.
• Co-ordinate all project updates and concern resolutions during the life of the project.
• Maintaining the vehicle log to ensure vehicle availability as per the VUP and to co-ordinate all vehicle shipping requests.
• Attendance at fleet meetings to manage vehicle requests and communicate fleet concerns back into the project team.
• Supporting drive events (logistics, planning, vehicle movement, pass outs, security approval etc.) and by locating and negotiating vehicle usage with internal and external departments.
• Collation of project status documents.
• Support the collation of the project status and brochure.
• Facilitation of any Proving Ground logistical support, track & transport POs and to authorise and monitor these POs and project budgets.
• Occasional support (as requested) pertaining to workshop administration, part reservations and availability

Qualifications & Experience

• An excellent level of communication skills (verbal, written and face to face)
• Strong organisational skills and accuracy in your work
• An efficient influencer with demonstrable negotiation skills from a previous role
• Must be highly proficient in Excel
• Previous experience within an automotive environment would be beneficial
• Experience in an engineering environment would be an advantage
