The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
MAIN PURPOSE
To provide technical coordination of new product programmes to deliver whole vehicle acoustic, aerodynamic and Creak & Rattle performance to ensure achievement of product targets.
This role will specifically include project integration, coordination and management in Whole Vehicle EWA of vehicle specifications, vehicle requirements, budget, vehicle usage, concerns management etc,

SCOPE
Responsible for the week to week Technical Project co-ordination, delivery & management of a specific project/platform program, including;
• Working with available/agreed budgets (could include forecast/reforecast) & functins/project
• co-ordination and management of vehicle specifications for EWA
• co-ordination, planning and management of EWA vehicle usage requirements as requested by various areas within EWA with vehicle co-ordinators & PI co-ordinator
• attendance at EW vehicle requirements meeting to secure EWA Vehicle usage
• EWA representation at project meetings to secure EWA requirements, and identification and reporting of project concerns within to EWA
• planning & managing x-department & project synergies and ways of working opportunities (Technical integration)
• co-ordinating project status in EWA eg Milestone gateway tracking and status, PVR tracking,
• coordination of project budgets, budget spend profile, budget reforecasts etc
• identifiying activity conflicts & business priorities for elevation & decison
• overview status and support for EWA responses to PDB’s and AEKO’s etc
• co-ordination and management of project VDS reporting
• defining and planning own work and reporting technical status and progress
• monitoring the vehicle build specification status documentation, production concessions and permits (e.g. NVH readiness status) and reporting

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
5 years experience of project management & development in the automotive industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally the candidate will hold a Degree in appropriate Engineering discipline, preferably Chartered Engineer or demonstrable experience
German language experience advantageous
Alternatively, this role could be a development role for an Engineer wishing to broaden skills with a view to further progression
