The Company:
My Clients is a Global operator of Mobile Production Units for The Oil and Gas Industry. Priding themselves in matching their clients needs and being able to reduce investment costs pre-production and thus assisting global energy supply and economic development

The Role:
The Project Interface Engineer is responsible for the provision of support services to facilitate the management of project interfaces between the Operator and Host to ensure the delivery of the project in accordance with legislative requirements, company standards, management processes, company values, industry best practice and plans.
Through these activities the Project Interface Engineer contributes to company’s ultimate objective of producing hydrocarbons in safe manner whilst minimising scheduled and unscheduled deferments

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

•Build effective working relationships with the Host and other departments within Company, based on Core Values and a respect for health, safety and environmental issues.
•Ensure effective management of Interface Queries, Technical Queries, Management Of Change Requests, coming into the Project from the Host, Primary contractors and Secondary Contractors, in terms of adequacy of content and resources to enable their execution and timely response.
•Ensure compliance and produce documentation to satisfy company Oil Stage Gate system
•Engage in routine meetings with Host, Primary and Secondary Contractors to ensure that services provided satisfy the projects needs and to discuss and help resolve issues with those Contractors.
•Participate in Verification Meetings with Contractors and IVB’s (Independent Verification Bodies).
•Be the projects focal point for, and manage and distribute as required, weekly Project Milestone Reports provided by Host, Primary and Secondary Contractors.
•Review Contractor Monthly Reports and convey any key points from them to the Manager and team leads within the project.
•Track all projects submissions via permits and consents register.
•Build effective working relationships with offshore and on production operations, projects and other relevant departments of comapny.
•Provide project specific support as requested by project manager.
•Establish and manage a professional relationship with vendors to ensure provision of deliverables, services and equipment in a timely manner.
•Maintain awareness of the construction execution of the project to ensure compliance with project requirements and timely delivery of MOUK free issue equipment for the activities.
•Identify and maintain offshore POB manning levels required to deliver the MOUK activities on the Host platform.
•Encourage good, open communication within the project team, promoting a culture of involvement, participation and adherence to comapny values

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience and good technical understanding of offshore operations, project construction and project engineering.
Project and contract management experience.
Understanding of the commercial environment in UKNS.
Ability to create positive relations to peers and stakeholders internally and externally.
Good communication skills (written and oral).
