The Role:
Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering staff and activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner. Act as primary technical coordination interface with client to ensure that the client’s expectations are met. Ensure the project conforms to the client’s approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Manages the engineering leads and staff on the project and holds accountability for individual and team performance.
• Act as primary technical coordination interface with customer to ensure that the customer's expectations are satisfied. Build and maintain healthy client relationships. Proactively resolve performance, scope and schedule issues with the client as they arise. Identify, document, communicate and meet the client’s requirements.
• Ensure the project conforms to the customer's approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements. Set clear objectives to the design team, including achieving productivity and budget targets. Manage inter-discipline interfaces effectively.
• Regularly provide accurate, timely and effective reports to project management. Effectively communicate with the design team and third parties.
• Project Scope/ Cost/ Time Management - Effectively manage assigned budgets within the Company's total scope. Comply with WPMP and contract requirements. Effectively apply change control process. Contribute to the development of overall project schedule. Supervise work in accordance with the approved schedule. Monitor cost aspects of the project within direct control and forecasts final costs identify trends and take action to avoid cost overruns.
• Project Procurement Management - Assess procurement processes throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification, are delivered on time and are within budget.
• Project Risk Management - Monitor the closure of all identified risks and opportunities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
BS or MS in related field or applicable discipline, typically an engineering degree; or equivalent experience if allowed by law. Thorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted Company procedures. Generally 3-5 years of experience in field with BS, or 1-3 years of experience in field with MS; EIT or relevant professional registration preferred.
• Recognized expertise within area of focus. Use best practices to solve functional issues and improve programs and/or processes in support of organizational business challenges. Participate in plan implementation. Independently work through individual projects and/or play key role in broader projects. Rely on systemic thinking and understanding of broader organizational implications of the work being performed to solve problems.
