The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Primary Responsibilities:

Occupational Health and Safety
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
• Ensure all personnel in the team are fully versed and compliant with the organisation's safety procedures and values.
• Ensure all procedures for interface and change management include appropriate occupational and process safety considerations and requirements

Environment
• Ensure all interface and change management activities minimize the impact on the environment in line with project requirements

Risk Management
• Liaise with the respective Divisional Interface and change management focal points to mitigate risks linked to interface and change management on the Project

Interface Management
• Develop and implement pan Project Interface Management philosophies, processes, procedures, specifications and related project management documentation
• Develop, manage and enhance the Project Interface Management software System including guidelines, procedures, roll out programs and training
• Manage the development and use of Interface documents, systems, diagrams, matrices etc and coordinate completion of agreed deliverables.
• Manage Interface communications across the Project, including coordination meetings, workshops, reports and briefings.
• Ensure that the respective Project Divisions and Functions review and update critical interface activities, target dates and deliverable documentation to close out actions.
• Proactively monitor pan Project interfaces, and liaise with external stakeholders as necessary
• Chair the pan Project Interface Management meetings and participate in Divisional Interface meetings as required
• Liaise with Project Divisions and Functions to resolve technical issues across Interfaces as necessary
• Work with Project Divisions and Functions to align interface schedules and deliverables to safeguard the overall Project Master Schedule.
• Develop and maintain a pan Project Interface risk register.

Change Management
• Develop and implement pan Project Change Management processes, procedures, specifications and related project management documentation
• Develop, manage and enhance the Project Change Management software system including guidelines, procedures, roll out programs and training
• Manage the development and use of Change management documentation, systems, workflows etc.
• Manage Change communications across the Project, including coordination meetings, workshops, reports and briefings.
• Ensure that the respective Project Divisions and Functions review and update change registers.
• Proactively monitor pan Project Changes and liaise with stakeholders as necessary (for example: to assist them in preparing high quality decision support packages on critical Project changes).
• Chair the pan Project Change Committee meetings and participate in Divisional change management meetings as required
• Work with Project Divisions and Functions to align interfaces and actions to safeguard the overall Project Master Schedule.

Leadership/Team Work
• Provide proactive Project leadership in the area of Interface and Change Management
• Demonstrate and encourage empathetic team work as a member of a culturally diverse organisation.
• Develop and implement strategies to foster appreciation and ownership of interface and change management issues across the project.
• Implement the necessary training and development plans to enhance Interface team members' capability to deliver on objectives.
• Mentor and support Interface Coordinators and others across the project regarding Interface Management issues.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Tertiary Engineering Degree

• Min 15 yrs. experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Facilities engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning with a good understanding of technical integrity management systems, project management systems, quality and technical assurance systems, change management, deviation/query management.
• Highly competent in interpreting engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning documents and specifications to ascertain risk management issues.
• Working knowledge of:
- Subsurface.
- Drilling and Well Completions
- Upstream and downstream technologies - subsea, CPF, FPSO, pipelines
- Project engineering and project management processes. EPC Contracts
- External Approval Processes
• Highly competent interpersonal and influencing skills to tactfully and diplomatically manage ambiguity, conflict and uncertainty in a culturally diverse environment.
• Accomplished at report writing and board papers.
