The Role:
The Project Interfaces Specialist is primarily responsible for the coordination of internal and external interface aspects of the Liquefaction project. The Interface Specialist will track and monitor deliverables, schedules, correspondence and maintain associated documentation all in accordance with the Project Execution Plan. The Interface Specialist uses standardized project control processes and tools. Work location will be Houston and then relocate to the Hackberry job site near Lake Charles during the course of the project execution. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) will be required.



External Qualifications:

•The Interface Specialist is responsible for the coordination of internal and external interfaces and activities.
•Responsible for tracking all communication and working with document control to manage related documentation.
•Supports the Project Manager, Interfaces with all matters related to interfaces with the E&C department.
•Acts as a liaison between the E&C department and all other internal or external interfaces.


External Interfaces

•Commissioning feed gas and pipeline transportation
•Entergy power
•Pipeline(s) interconnect(s)
•Commissioning ships and ship vetting
•Investor Members (Equity partners)
•Land Owners


Internal Interfaces

•Provide support to permitting and external affairs
•Works as E&C contact for Sempra (including Operations)
•Consults with all departments of the Project and JV for the completion of activities
•Support the Management and updating of the Project Execution Plan
•Supports updating of the Project Risk Register
•Lenders engineer (Lummus) interface
•Collaborates with other members of JV, or appropriate Stakeholders, as required
•Intervenes, analyzes, manages and resolves business conflicts
•Prepares and disseminates as required information regarding project status, compliance and modifications
•Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements for monitoring compliance.




Education:

•Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business related.


Experience:

•Requires a minimum of 4 years of related professional experience in energy and project controls or contracts management.
