The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Project Lead Architect in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
o Upstream (E&P) industry knowledge.
o General Architecture design experience at multiple clients in a lead role (preferably in MDM/BI/DW type of environments)
o Experience working with large-scale projects in a lead role, preferably projects spanning multiple geographies
o Implementing MDM solutions at multiple clients preferred, with emphasis at O&G companies.
o Toolset evaluation experience (MDM toolsets evaluation preferred)
o Ability to interact independently with senior business and technical stakeholders
o SME level knowledge preferred with MDM concepts.
o Experience with creating long term MDM strategy preferred (can be substituted by DW/BI strategy)
o Process Flow design experience
o Experience with data quality initiatives
o Knowledge of TOGAF preferred, certification would be ideal
o Experience with Data Modeling tool, Erwin / ERStudio preferred
o Prior Client Upstream experience preferred

Architecture Scope of Work / Deliverables
 To take over ownership of the Project Lead Architect’s standard activities and deliverables as defined by Client’s Architecture Common Process.
 Represent the project at the Architecture design review.
 Create & maintain all the standard deliverables listed in the Architecture Quality Plan.

Specific Functional or Domain Expertise Required
 Familiarity with standard Client Architectural Processes and Deliverables
 Experience designing business process flows
 Experience interacting with large number of stakeholders

Nice to have
 Data Governance / Data Management experience
 Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts
 Upstream Industry Knowledge
 Prior Client experience in a similar role

Specific Product Expertise
 Microsoft Visio
 Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, Powerpoint )
 ARIS (optional)

At least 5 to 10 years experience
