The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Coordinate Project & Discipline engineering activities (FEL to project completion) and apply extensive and highly specialized knowledge of engineering principles and practices on medium to large projects in broad areas of assignments in order to design and oversee assigned engineering projects.
1. Provide support to conceptualize, conceive, plan, schedule, direct the design and perform other engineering activities required to support plant improvements & new business opportunities.
2. Ensure sufficient early dialog on the justification, value assessment, alternative review and economic analysis are completed prior to initiating the project.
3. Coordinate with the project & local Management Team the development & implementation of the Business Opportunity Plan
4. Ensure proper documentation of the project goals and objectives supporting the business strategy.
5. Oversee the monitoring, integration and implementation of all project & discipline work processes and measurements to drive successful project deployment.
6. Manage the design and construction of the project to ensure the facilities and equipment are engineered and built according to the key project plans and within the authorized schedule and cost limitations.
7. Responsible for safety, efficiency, productivity and overall performance of all project activities.
8. Formulate and present Project Execution Plan(s) & other proposals including details on the planning, scoping, budget and schedule estimates, and expenditure authorizations.
9. Provide appropriate and/or alternative solutions to issues raised, to secure the necessary approvals.
10.Responsible for documenting key project measurements and learning experiences in the Project Closure Report, to ensure excellent teamwork among project members.
11. Ensure that all principles, procedures and practices are strictly comply with EH&S guidelines, regulatory and permit requirements.
12. Serve as coach & mentor to other project team members.
13. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineering discipline– Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or acting supervisory role.
