The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Quality Manager the Project Lead QA Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing the Project Quality Plan and Systems QMS. Also responsible for developing and implementing audit schedules for all project stages, and the tracking and close out of actions. Scrutiny of the Engineering Contractors Quality Plan and audit schedule implementation to ensure adequate resource has been allocated. Ensure areas critical to the project delivery are being examined in line with the construction schedule.
This is a high profile contract for Company operations and meeting the project key objectives without compromising quality is an essential requirement.

KEY CHALLENGES IN ROLE IN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS
Key challenges for the Project QA Engineer in the next 12 months include:
• Compliance with MPCP Guidelines (E&QM)
• Alignment with Group Integrity Management Standard

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain project quality plan for Company.
• Manage quality assurance and control plan.
• Co-ordination with the contractor is a major portion of the workscope.
• Review and critique contractors QMS PQP/PQCP,procedures and workpacks.
• Attend Project Meetings where required
• Issue of Non Conformance or Corrective Action Reports raised during quality audits or by
other project personnel and facilitate closure where necessary.
• Monitor contractor trends and leading indicators to aid compilation of quality metrics
• Implement the project audit schedule by taking part in joint audits with the contractor or on
behalf of Company .

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Educated to HNC level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering and managing Major Project Quality Plans
• Knowledge of quality relative to all disciplines involved in offshore fabrication including
Instrument and electrical installation, materials and construction methods.
• Knowledge of routine maintenance regimes and subsea operations.

• Actively promotes a positive team environment.
• Procative approach to planned activities and input to quality requirements at contract
preparation stage
• Assimilates complex data to identify key issues and aid decision making
• Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge
• Implementation of a risk based Quality Management System covering all project phases
from design through to commissioning and operations.

Technical Competencies:
• Qualified experienced Lead Auditor with Project Background.
• Appreciation of Audit Schedules alignment
