The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
To provide efficient and effective professional management of the Customer Liaison role within the Caithness – Moray HVDC Reinforcement Project, maintaining all registers and processes in accordance with the requirements of the Contract.

The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive.

• Close involvement with the management team.
• Maintain and manage the entire Notification Process of each section of the Project, from design through to completion of construction.
• Maintain and manage the Streetworks Notices System, ensuring efficient and effective communication between the business and all affected parties.
• Maintain the Register of “Appointments With Customers” and arrange and attend all meetings as deemed necessary and as required by the Contract.
• Manage all Customer Service Enquiries and effect adequate responses within the stipulated timescales.
• Manage the Customer Notification Process, ensuring that the required Letter-Drop and notification process is adhered to at all times.
• Attend meetings on behalf the business with local councillors, residents groups and statutory bodies.
• Maintain a “Daily Whereabouts Register” confirming to the Client ABB Limited’s locations of work on a weekly basis.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as required by this function.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Membership of one or more associated professional institutes would be advantageous.
• Significant experience within a similar environment, including at management level.
• Strong team building and leadership skills
• The ability to constructively solve problems both short-term and long-term in a site environment.
• Personal stamina to drive the contract through effective management of the available resources to meet contract deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, providing relevant reports.
