The Role:
Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate Project Meetings
o Lead Project Team Meetings to identify and resolve issues
o Facilitate Value Improving Sessions (VIPs) and Best Practice Sessions for Projects
o Coordinate and Lead Project Decision Review Board (DRB) Meetings
• Mentor Project Engineers and Project Managers on the proper use of the Company Project Management System (CPMS).
• Lead effort to complete yearly Project Lookbacks (project reviews to quantify and document project results) with effort on improving database to facilitate project managers to do their own benchmarking exercise. Seamless coordination with Finance and other support functions (eg. IOEP integrated offshore execution plan) to integrate system lookback if required.
• Develop key process KPI to monitor improvement of capital stewardship and lead/facilitate the rollout to all implemented groups.
• Interface with Project Consultants (CSOC champion group) in Chevron’s Asia South Business Unit (ASBU), Chevron’s Project Resources Company (PRC) or FE function group to share and implement best practice to improve project management system including cost/schedule engineering.
• Lead information management in order to prepare process or system architecture and work seamless with IT (information technology) to implement system for FEIM (facility engineering information management system)
• Initiate continuous improvement to drive better improvement in process year on year and quickly incorporate comments with least supervision. This could be through known process eg. Lean sigma etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications (Education, Work Experience, English and Computer Skills)

• Required - Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Discipline
• Required - Minimum of 10 years experience as Project Engineer or Project Manager in oil and gas industry.
• Optional – Lean Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or project consultant as solution providers.
• Desired – Excellent communicator in English with expertise in facilitating meetings with clients
• Desired - Be customer oriented and always be initiator for continuous improvement process
• Desired - Fluent on capital stewardship aspects and able to work independent.
