The Role:
The Technical Assistant will support the NAS Project Services team executing technical duties, such as: document management, generating reports, maintaining records and inputting data into technical systems and performing verification. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Produce high quality documents and presentations • Follow identified standards and processes for data gathering and basic analysis • Perform basic research with guidance and support task assignment of others • Assist in development of management presentations • Perform document management activities for the team • Access technical software and generate reports • Manage various electronic filing systems and eRooms • Track portions of the group's budget • Assist with correspondence and maintain associated correspondence logs • Process requisitions and service entry sheets for invoice approval in SAP • Coordinate compilation of regular reports • Support personnel movements including new starts and transfers in and out of the department • Administrative duties such as copying, filing, faxing and distributing mail • Receive and route incoming phone calls • Submit for processing and follow up on IT requests • Create and maintain up to date contact lists • Maintain calendars and training schedules • Organize and coordinate functions, such as conferences, luncheons, and meetings • Adhere to HSEC Policy and Management Standards

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of eight (8) years of technical support experience • Strong demonstrated proficiency in SAP, Documentum, MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel, Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint. • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Document Management experience • Ability to work well in a team environment • Work under heavy time constraints • Initiative and creativeness • Ability to prioritize work with a minimum of supervision • Self-starter, able to plan and use time to maximum benefit • Decision making ability and good organizational skills are required as this position will be responsible for decisions regarding day-to-day activities
