The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Working as part of the Advanced Vehicle Concepts team the chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the concept reviews and selections activites against the required timing and gateway process.
- System engineering of key aspects of the vehicle systems. This is whole vehicle system engineering.
- Liasing and communicating with key stakeholders to gain buy-in/agreement to the approach/design.
- Elliciting stakeholder needs. Documenting the process.
- Capturing and documenting system requirements in a robust manner.
- Cascading system requirements to sub-systems within/outside the team.
- Use case development to aid in system definition.
- Delivering effecient technical solutions to cross functional problems.
- Ensuring all robustness / quality processes are followed and built in to the system design. Working within the QOS.
- Working closely with the systems leads and functional safety leads.
- Liaising across CoCs and departments to ensure new system functionality and features are delivered correctly.

Skills Required:
Applicants should ideally be qualified to degree level.

- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of technical and process issues within a Project Team environment.
- Experience in delivereing complex systems.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, self confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high pressure environment, being self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
- Experience of systems engineering and/or complex system integration - Essential.
- Knowledge of requirements management software
- i.e. Doors - Desirable.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, alternative propulsion systems, vehicle platform design. Desireable.

- Ability to work within a team.
- Sound judgement.

Experience Required:
-Background in delivering complex systems using robust delivery techniques.
-Involvement in systems engineeing.
