The Role:
THIS POSITION PREFERS CANDIDATES WITH LOCAL KNOWLEDGE IN SINGAPORE

The Project Manager will ensure that projects are completed on time and in compliance with safety standards, whilst maintaining the project budget and the company’s QA/QC standards. They will build a cohesive competent project team and provide timely flow of relevant information to all team members. The right candidate will conduct site survey, technical and risk evaluation on potential projects. They will be able to effectively plan, manage projects and resources, whilst maintaining a net positive project budget.
The right candidate will be responsible for day-to-day project management of high tolerance concrete flooring projects. The Project Manager will be the key contact in dealing with Project Owners, Main Contractors and Subcontractors. They will expertly control site staff and labour, communicating clearly and confidently at all levels with people of many nationalities. The Project Manager should thrive in a fast track environment, have excellent problem solving skills, be resourceful and have the ability to think outside the box.


Role & Responsibilities
• Point of contact and act as company representative between Clients, consultants, site personnel and client;
• Preparation and Implementation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments;
• Controlling site progress and site coordination of resources;
• Labour Management - Resource Management and On-site Development of own staff;
• Quality Control Management;
• Producing and monitoring Construction Programs;
• Submitting RFI’s to client as necessary;
• Project Tender Costing – Providing solutions;
• Effective communicator in both spoken and written capabilities;
• Common knowledge and understanding of construction contracts;
• Technical Sales;
• Contract Negotiation;
• Sales & Marketing;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree / Diploma in Building / Engineering
• Minimum 5 years full time experience preferably in a multinational environment
• Understanding of basic engineering principles
• Fluent oral and written English. Other languages would be an advantage.
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, Project and/or other construction programming software.
• Regular travel may be required
