The Company:
Our client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions the transmission and distribution industry

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the achievement of successful contract execution & customer satisfaction. Interfacing with the client's UK and our Global Focus Feeder Factories. This role will be working within our client's Transformer business.

Key Responsibilities and duties:
- The execution of contracts to achieve the Company’s targets, objectives and mitigate commercial risk.
- Feeder factory focused, hands on relationship building
- To be available for regular travel to UK & overseas factories / clients / sites.
- The management of commercial, engineering and documentation deliverables in co-operation with the feeder factories to achieve the project objectives.
- Continual improvement in departmental / feeder factory efficiency, minimising risk and elimination of error and optimisation of project deliverable efficiencies.
- Responsible for and the ownership of a contract financial deliverables and budgets from point of order to acceptance of the final account.
- The identification and profit maximisation of variations in the scope of supply.
- Profit enhancement by effective material selection and contract negotiations with major sub vendors where applicable.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Contract management experience
- Financially & commercially aware
- Strong IT skills including the use of project management software
