The Company:
One of the largest global oil companies involved on most key oil sites internationally.

The Role:
The Project Manager Diving is responsible for managing the diving works for project in in accordance with client’s Q&HSE expectations.

General
• Responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of project scopes and communication of project goals and expectations.
• Build and lead a high performance team to facilitate successful delivery of the offshore execution
• Provide direction, motivation and leadership to both internal staff and external contractors
• Responsible for ensuring the installation contractor delivers a competent organisation and a high standard of resources to successfully execute the work
• Responsible for managing Contractor project execution performance and scope delivery
• Manage the plan and facilities for in-country mobilisation
• Maintain awareness and promote conformance to GPO expectations and requirements of Safe Design and Quality Build within the construction team and the contractors.
• Promote, demonstrate and ensure compliance with all appropriate elements of the GPO, Operating Management System (OMS), including Risk Management and Management of Change
• Maintain close contact with the client Construction Management network to ensure relevant lessons and practices are evaluated for applicability to project and implemented as appropriate
• Responsible for ensuring project lessons learned are captured and shared with the GPO

Diving Management
• Manage the Installation Contractor’s diving project management and engineering teams
• Manage the installation engineering and procedure development to assure timely delivery of approved procedures for offshore execution
• Manage the DSV and offshore diving works in accordance with client’s Q&HSE expectations
• Own and manage the diving execution schedule including daily management of the DSV
• Provide input and support the offshore integrated schedule and synergies across delivery groups
• Manage the diving execution costs and own the budget
• Assure upgrades to the DSV meet all the Project needs
• Ensure client diving and construction processes are in place

Skill Requirements:
• Exhibits understanding of client diving practices and the latest international standards that assure integrity of build and construction quality
• Proactively demonstrates sophisticated decision-making and leadership skills needed to address complex stakeholder groups and issues associated with Major Projects
• Ability to intervene in in critical situations in order to redirect focus and achieve the required result
• A high level of proven communication, interpersonal and people management skills
• Financial and commercial awareness.
• Self-motivated.
• Computer literate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified and professional status accreditation with a recognised institution
• A minimum of 10years DP DSV and offshore vessel experience to include saturation and air diving and subsea construction
• Proven capability of building and leading successful teams
• Experience with site construction activities related to health, safety, and environmental issues
