The Company:
My Client is a leading mining, construction and services company with over 75 successful years experience in Australasian markets. Due to expansive development and a number of major project wins, they are now seeking an experience Project Manager, versed with construction projects, overseeing the construction of Double Containment LNG Tanks. The successful individual will have proven experience along with leadership skills and a strong focus on safety and planning

The Role:
Project Manager - Double Containment LNG Tanks – Perth , Australia - $Exc + Benefits – Challenging variety of work – Opportunities for advancement – Australian working visa can be arranged for successful overseas applicants – Stability of employment

The role will see the successful individual:
Working as a Project Manager on a Design & Construct project constructing Double Containment LNG Tanks ( This work is very specific and a double containment LNG specific background is required)
Working to tender specifics for an EPC of 2 x 165,000m³ LNG Storage Tanks, 1 x 85,000 m³ Propane Storage Tank and 1 x 60,000 m³ Butane Storage Tank.
Establish and lead the project team responsible for delivery of the procurement and construction of the project with zero harm to people and the environment.
Deliver projects to time and budget at lowest capital cost, with minimum disruption to existing operations and without compromising specified quality or plant performance.
Lead the team to deliver outstanding and exceptional project outcomes.
Travel to and from site as required – (Darwin) for construction and commissioning.
Role will eventually move to site and be a FIFO from Perth on a roster. (2 weeks on 1 week off or 3 weeks on 1 week off)
The role will start in Jan 2012
Ideally, you will demonstrate Senior management experience leading an engineering and construction organization along with project management experience with successful outcomes on major / complex works. Substantial experience in the design and construction management of major multidisciplinary projects is also a must.

Tertiary Engineering Qualifications or a Post Graduate Qualification in a Business field is preferable.
