The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Engineered-To-Order (ETO) division operates as a nimble business within a business and is focused towards increasing profitability through leveraging our customers desire to personalize their vehicles. Act as the Key interface between ETO (Engineering To Order / Vehicle personalisation) and the wider stakeholders. (Vehicle Programme Teams, Marketing, Manufacturing etc). Manage a robust approach ensuring all properties (Line fit commodities / Limited Edition / Accessories etc.) are delivered to cost, time & the agreed quality standards. Co-ordinate the PCS (GPDS) cycle plan Milestone deliverables. Co-ordinate all Project deliverables via i3 (training required). Be responsible for status reporting, Cost / Timing / Quality. Act as the programme conduit for unlocking roadblocks. Lead cross functional issues ensuring resolution. Ensure robust Planning Via best practice process tool adherence. Provide status reports to the wider stake holders via PSTs, deliverable summarys, gateway papers and night letters as required. Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the ETO Programme Management processes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successful programme delivery based on:
Good working knowledge of automotive vehicle systems eg. vehicle accessories, vehicle exteriors, vehicle interiors, vehicle electrical systems, electronics, chassis and powertrain.
Good working knowledge of business case inputs, tools and calculations eg TFLE, PBT, IRR.
Good working knowledge of engineering principles relevant to the design, development, testing and manufacture of automotive products.
An understanding of the parts procurement process and logistics involeved beneficial.
Self confident and able able to represent ETO Programme management with integrity and credibility.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential to liaising with a number of internal and external parties, and coordinating a wide range of cross-functional work tasks.
Self starting, self confident and and self motivated individual that demonstrates initaiative required.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge of product creation and project management tools (PDLs, GPDS, PCS, i3)
Knowledge of project management systems used in automotive applications
Working knowledge of issue tracking and release systems eg. BOM, AIMS, WERS
Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly tooling methods and lead-times
