The Company:
Our client is a leading global supplier of oil and gas metering computer systems and associated products and services to the petrochemical industry

The Role:
The Project Manager's main role is to ensure that bespoke metering system projects are delivered to customers within the timescales, budgets and to the quality expected.

Duties & Responsibilities -
- Interaction with sales, proposals and marketing personnel
- Management of multiple projects
- Key contact with the customer regarding progress, schedule and commercial issues
- Project planning (use of MS Project) including resource planning to deliver on time
- Ensuring technical compliance through monitoring & quality control systems/procedures
- Hold regular project status/update meetings with the Lead Engineer and/or team
- Commercial responsibility – variations, invoicing
- Adherence to budget (man hours & materials)
- Identifying and carrying out corrective actions
- Managing change control
- Procurement management
- Communication of potential project concerns to Managing Director
- Prepare and present regular project reports (at least monthly) both internally and to the customer.
- Project close out – lessons learnt and feedback
- Management/supervision of personnel – motivation, training and appraisal
- Ensuring high level of company chargeable hours i.e. ensuring the project team(s) are working efficiently
- Establish and maintain good team working
