The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
In accordance with Region policies and procedures, manage the Technical Team and contractor undertaking Appraise studies for the Pipeline in the development of alternative solutions for export of gas.

Responsibilities and tasks:
• Ensuring that all necessary technical work (Appraise/Select) for the project is completed to enable approval of the Define Gate in 2Q 2012 and FID in June 2013
• Selecting the multidiscipline members of the Appraise Technical Team for the project in accordance with Company procedures
• Preparing plans and budgets for executing the work in accordance with CVP stage requirements, and seeking the necessary approvals
• Manage the Appraise and Select areas of work for the project, the standalone alternative in Turkey for export of gas.
• Manage implementation of the JSA study scope agreed by the partners in the period to mid Jun 2012, when the consortium is expected to be formed and other agreements, eg, IGA, HGA will have been signed
• After the Project consortium is formed manage the agreed workscope to the approved schedule.
• Managing the performance of the Project Team, including the engineering contractor in this Appraise stage ensuring compliance with the allocated budgets, planning the execution of the Team’s work, and allocation of responsibilities to direct reports
• Contribute to selection of engineering contractors and consultants to be engaged on the work.
• Develop necessary relationships with external stakeholders.
• Representation at Partner meetings, ie FFD, ETT, ENT
• Member of the Project Appraisal Leadership Team
• Compliance with Company and Region policies, technical standards and procedures, and ensure staff do so
• Support to the Appraisal Project Manager
• Support to other internal stakeholders
• Networking within Company and Region to ensure use of ‘best practice’ and ‘lessons learnt’
• Assessment, coaching and development of Company staff
