The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national Oil and Gas Operator which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves on conducting operations in accordance with world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
Expected to work on Management of Early Phase Projects.
Interact with technical, reservoir, drilling, operations, decision analysis, and/or business development teams demonstrating fluency in facilities engineering and project management concepts to incorporate project design and execution elements.
Expected to become familiar with the Company Project Development process, to ensure their work conforms.
Support projects in different time zones, and this may require working very early in the morning, or late in the evening.
Support the training of other personnel, as required.
Be an active supporter of new technology to enhance the value of field developments.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree essential; preferably Professional Engineer.
Able to comprehend the overall field development from reservoir to export pipeline. Has experience of several different phases of project including: Pre-project (essential), Alternative selection (essential), Front End Engineering Design (essential), Construction (beneficial), Operations (beneficial).
Recognized by Industry Peers as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a key technology such as; Major, Upstream, Onshore Oil and Gas Developments, Flow Assurance or Process, Electrical or Mechanical, Drilling/Well Completion.
Project Management Experience: Has been responsible for delivering a major sub-system within an overall field development, where the work has included; Cost Estimating, Schedule Development, Management of work costs & schedule, Familiarity with facilities and project management tools/processes – especially gated processes used on MCPs.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Geographical Experience: Has worked on multiple projects from around the world.
Prior experience with client.
Be experienced at influencing and guiding project teams. Be able to influence project teams and stakeholders by establishing both personal and ECD credibility, Be able to effectively and seamlessly integrate facilities engineering and estimating activities with other technical functions and commercial teams.
