The Company:
Top Tier COMAH Site
The Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for Refurbishment / Rebuilding / New Building Construction of a number of operational buildings on a Top Tier COMAH site in the North East of England. The site requires the new / existing buildings to be constructed / rebuilt to the required standard. The following buildings are required:
Training Centre (New Build)
Admin Building
Laboratories
Warehouse
3 x Control Rooms
Fire Station
The Project Manager will be responsible for the project from conception until completion, the estimated timeframe for the work to be completed is 5 years.
The Project Manager must liaise with all relevant departments and functions on site to determine requirements and availability of land.
Execution of the project in accordance with Site Permitry and Safe Working Practices.
Development, communication and management of the project objectives, scope of work packages, drawings, procedures, specifications, programmes/plans and project control documentation.
Liaison with various site personnel at all levels to ensure key personnel are adequately informed and involved.
Establishment of regular Project Management meetings.
Preparation and distribution of monthly project status reports and documentation including key project metrics (safety / costs / programme)
Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities on project implementation and delivery.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant experience of a similar project on a Top Tier COMAH Site
Chartered Engineer preferable
Broad experience in Project Management
Proven level of competence
Degree qualified or equivalent
