The Company:
Our Client is a leading global provider of technology solutions for the energy industry. This well renowned organistation designs, manufactures and services technologically sophisticated systems and products such as subsea production and processing systems, surface wellhead systems, high pressure fluid control equipment, measurement solutions, and marine loading systems for the oil and gas industry.

The Role:
RESPONSIBILITY:
• Liaison with all internal departments to ensure effective and efficient execution of projects.
• FKSL customer service interface for all External/Internal activities relating to the customers ‘project’ needs.

AUTHORITY:
• Manage and motivation of seconded Project personnel and raise any concerns with the UK Projects Manager.
• Effective planning and management of on-shore and off-shore customer projects (technical and commercial) via FKSL multi-discipline teams.
• Developing commercial strategies/agreements in conjunction with Customer Support department (Bergen)/Contracts Manager (Aberdeen) and their implementation thereafter.
• Single point of contact for the customer and FKSL bases/departments to ensure an effective flow of information.
• To agree financial commitments on behalf of their own projects in line with agreed company limits.

MAIN TASKS:
• Develop good customer relationships.
• Ensuring that project objectives are met on time and to the specified cost, quality and HSE requirements.
• Responsible for the creation and planning of the ‘scope of work’ in conjunction with the customer/customer requirements
• Identification of deviations to agreed work scopes and raising/submitting variation orders thereafter.
• Ensure Project reporting, both internal and external, is completed in line with department and customer requirements.
• Management of all project related financial functions i.e. preparation and maintenance of variation order registers, budgets, forecasts, reviewing WIP and expediting of quotation and P.O processes.
• Good understanding of existing contracts that could affect the performance of the project
• Ensuring project documentation and files are maintained in line with company procedures
• On-call duties - in accordance with base on-call rota procedure.
• Managing Field Non Conformances (SN/QN) and customer complaints

MANDATORY SW-APPLICATIONS TO BE MANAGED :
• MS Office
• SAP

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Educated to minimum HNC in a suitable subject and or several years experience gained within the oil and gas / similar industry.
• Ability to manage a Project Team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Proven experience within the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• Good working knowledge of SAP.
