The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
My operator client has a current vacancy for a Project Manager to be based in their Perth CBD office. The role will be closer in line with a Project Engineer rather than Manager, however will be titled Project Manager.


Deliverables

Manage the Project team to achieve the development of required training / assessment packages for technical training; ensure execution on site assessments for technical competencies; ensure quality assurance across deliverables; network with functional training entities to ensure availability of required training; steward on-going development of competency profiles; prepare reports and metrics to track progress; manage Contracts Administration team and ensure the project team is aligned with all systems and processes.

Description
· Supervises project staff including recommendations relating to the selection, training, and performance monitoring of same.
· Accountable for adherence to policies, project expenditures and implementation.
· Accountable for safety aspects of the project. Responsible for ensuring that the Project Team completes the project.
· Develops the Project Plan with the team and manages the team's performance of project tasks.
· Secures acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor and Stakeholders.
· Responsible for communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team, and, in general, making sure the project is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree
5 - 10 years experience managing a variety of discipline teams
