Our client is a global leader in the design and delivery of infrastructure, power and major engineering projects around the world. The Role:
Objective of the role:
• To be responsible for the overall direction, planning, control, delivery and completion of specific projects or tasks within projects where management of building services is an important function, in accordance with defined scopes of duties and companies systems, mission and values;
• To manage or support Project Management commissions to achieve safe, sustainable and efficient outcomes that meet agreed profit and client satisfaction objectives;
• To develop and maintain relationships with clients, peers and others who are influential in providing future business.

Responsibilities of the role:

Lead or support a Project Management service by undertaking the following duties:
• Project Manage a medium sized project, series of smaller projects, or tasks for a larger project;
• Establish a client brief, with defined project benefits, scope, goals and deliverables;
• Support Parson Brinckerhoff’s Health and Safety Guidelines to achieve “Zero Harm”;
• Assemble and manage project teams;
• Manage project budgets;
• Manage project resource allocation;
• Implement a project controls process and obtain necessary approvals to proceed at each stage;
• Plan and schedule project activities and timelines;
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools;
• Provide direction and support to project team;
• Monitor and report on progress of the project;
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to deliver project goals;
• Arrange project evaluations and assessment of results;
• Prepare and present internal reports;
• Support business development and tenders;
• Manage staff and mentor subordinates.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The following qualifications and experience may be considered representative for an appropriate candidate:

• Degree-qualified in a building services design or related discipline;
• Member of an appropriate professional institution;
• PRINCE 2 of MAPM qualification is desirable;
• Sound knowledge and understanding of construction contracts and processes;
• Experience of managing projects using a structured project control process;
• CSCS Professional Grade or similar card holder;
• Range of experience, working either as a client or consultant in public and/or private sector environments;
• Typically greater than 5 years post graduate experience.
