The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
My client has an ambitious roll-out plan for its InControl features. Project Managers are required to plan and deliver this roll-out across a group of markets. In each market an infrastructure of third-party service providers is required to deliver Stolen Vehicle Tracking, Emergency Call (e-call) and Roadside Assistance services (b-call). The Connected Car Project Manager will identify and appoint these third parties with the support of the clients legal and procurement teams and the National Sales Company (NSC) and will develop the appropriate Service Level Agreement (SLA). Additionally training and marketing communications activities must be planned and delivered. A Project Manager will typically be responsible for activating launches in 3 to 5 markets in the current fiscal year. The individual will also be responsible for planning future launches in subsequent years. The role will report to the Head of Operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In conjunction with colleagues in the NSC, Procurement & Legal, identify and appoint suppliers for Stolen Vehicle Tracking services. ¿ Where no public service exists, identify and appoint suppliers for Emergency Call (e-call) in conjunction with colleagues in the NSC, Procurement & Legal ¿ The majority of markets already have a Roadside Assistance (RSA) provider. Scope and deliver the additional services that the RSA service must supply to support JLRs Connected Car product (b-Call). In all the above cases ensure a robust Service Level Agreement (SLA) and the appropriate contracts are in place. ¿ Co-ordinate each NSC¿s activity to deliver a strong communications plan to customers, dealers, suppliers and within the NSC. Ensure market requirements are understood by JLR¿s Communications and PR teams. ¿ Manage the delivery by each NSC of a training plan for dealers, suppliers and NSC staff.
