The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Project Management of cross car line NGI system development (medium size infotainment system development projects)
Manages the project from the start (definition of the scope) to completion (implementation in the car lines and handover to maintenance)
Establish project plan baseline: project scope, schedule, budget, deliverables' quality, secure the necessary resources, risks, communication plan
Execute, Monitor and Control project: track project schedule, scope, budget, monitor & handle changes, conflicts & escalations
Manage internal, external resources and suppliers/partners
Support consistent Project Reviews and senior reviews to a set format to explain complex systems.
Contribute to the development of a project management methodology and assist in the construction of a formalized program office

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Project Management of software development projects
2. Managing system engineering overall finance impact
3. Experience in leading cross-functional and multi-cultural teams

Proven 3 years’ experience in the management of software development and systems integration (SW + HW) projects
Proven track of record of successfully completed software development projects
Proven experience in leading multi-cultural and cross-functional teams, empowering and creating synergies in a matrix organization
Professional certificates (one or more): CAPM, PRINCE2, Agile PM, ITIL, SCRUM or equivalent
Excellent communication skills to discuss project, technical and business related issues

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Successfully completed a university degree in computer science or a comparable degree (BEng / BSc / MSc / PhD)
Proven experience in managing external partners
Proven experience in leading multi-cultural and cross-functional teams, empowering and creating synergies in a matrix organization
Excellent communication skills to discuss project, technical and business related issues
Enthusiasm for software and the automotive industry
Work style characterizing high customer orientation (both internal and external)
Strong cultural awareness and excellent language skills (fluent English) to enable communication throughout the organization
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work with minimum supervision
Experience in developing new system engineering processes and procedures to improve quality and delivery
Presentation skills - explaining complex systems
Full driving Licence
