The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
- Project Management Engineer to support EPMT leaders .
- Responsible for ensuring programme delivery to all timing and functional requirements.
- Key activities will be the planning and delivery of prototype builds, maintaining programme metrics and reporting status at both internal (PT) and external (Vehicle Team) Project Reviews

Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and team working skills will be required.
- Good IT skills on generic modern business software with a willingness to learn company unique software
- Ability to lead & negotiate the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a project team environment.
- Ability to present project information to all all levels of the business

Skills Preferred:
- Ability to use net meeting & audio conferences with confidence

Experience Required:
- A minimum of 3yrs experience within Powertrain Project management and/ or engine design delivery is required Experience of supplier management , meeting demanding timescales, budget control and issue resolution will be required.
- CATIA V5 and Teamcentre experince would be beneficial

Experience Preferred:
- A working knowledge of JLR processes ( GPDS , AIMs , WERS etc) would be beneifical.

Education Required:
- Degree level qualification in an engineering discipline or a minimum of 5 years experience within engine design and delivery.
