The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
- CAE Analysis Project Manager: Ensuring all powertrain analysis is fully integrated into wider vehicle programmes.
- Presenting analysis results and programme status at gateway events
- Creating, co-ordinating and monitoring CAE plans for all programmes to support gateway timings
- Advising team leaders of programme assumptions, priorities and important project developments Interaction with representatives from other CoC's as a key point of contact
- Supporting preparation of presentation material and engineering data to support programme reviews

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Proven background in project management and task planning in an engineering environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a rigorous approach to information management
- Excellent presentation and communications skills
- Effective team member, highly proactive, self-motivated, demonstrating personal drive and initiative
- Ability to interact with a range of people across and outside the organisation
- Flexibility to manage varying tasks within a broad-ranging role
- Understanding of CAE methods and the capabilities and limitations of the relevant tools and processes
- Experience of project management and task planning in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience and understanding of CAE techniques and interpreting analysis results
- Proven problem solver with good planning skills, logical reasoning and keen attention to detail
- Degree in an engineering or closely related discipline

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Understanding of vehicle and powertrain systems (fuels, cooling, T&D, engine, exhausts, intake systems) relevant to NVH, durability and performance attriubutes
- Understanding of Company product development system
- Experience of working in a dynamic product development environment
