The Role:
An expert in management of change and project management who is able to work at all levels within client organisations.

Site Management of a London Underground project
Good knowledge, understanding and authorised with LUL demonstrating a comprehensive competency in Site Management.

:Developing and implementing construction strategy
:Delivering the construction element of the project to programme and budget
:Health, Safety & Environmental management on site – supported as necessary by in-house and 3rd party HSE practitioners
:Management of all aspects of Quality
:Management and coordination of contractors
:Management of Site establishment and Welfare arrangements including CDM regulations
:Coordination and communication with client’s representative, planning supervisor, designers, etc
:Coordination and communication with government bodies, agencies, other interfacing contractors, etc in order to facilitate the construction process (if required)
:Weekly progress reporting

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Approved City and Guilds or equivalent trade qualification in an Electrical discipline
NEBOSH General Certificate (or IOSH Managing Safely with NEBOSH planned)
Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007
LUL Authorisation - Limited access (11kV Switchgear)
Undertaking Risk Assessment
Preparation of Method Statements
chair and hold meetings
Typically National Grid Competent Person (NSIs 6 & 8 and others as required)
Typically REC Authorisations as required
Work permits (inc. Permit to dig, hot work, etc)
Erection & inspection of scaffold

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Typically degree qualified professional with over 15 years experience and member or fellow of relevant professional institution(s)
