The Role:
“Only candidates who already have the rights to work in Azerbaijan will be considered for this role”.General
• To provide Marine advise and input into Marine and Subsea Work scopes
• Assist in plan vessel requirements in co ordination with:
• Marine team
• Delivery teams
• Region
• Contractors
• Vessel operators
• Assist in Assessing vessel suitability for work scopes in accordance with project and regional marine standards
• To participate vessel assurance tsaks
• To Monitor vessel performance and conformance to ensure that all relevant requirements are complied with in terms of company procedures and practices, Classification Society and State Marine Administration requirements
• To Assess and monitor contractor and vessel operator performance
• To Review Marine procedures for the work scopes and ensure contractor provides correctly engineered procedures for the required marine operations in accordance with project marine standards
• To participate in Risk workshops and activities.
• To Perform regular vessel visits to monitor standards
• To Liaise with vessel Masters
• Understudy Project Mariners in all aspects of marine team scope of work with the goal of promotion to Project Mariner.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Class 1 Master Mariner or Class 1 Engineer certificate
• At least 5 years’ experience of marine operations in offshore industry
• Extensive knowledge of towing and anchor handling operations.
• Fluent in Azeri and English
• Computer literate.
