The Role:
The Project Mechanical Engineer would act as Responsible Engineer for all assigned activities and will be responsible for brownfield modification scopes including:

• Working in close conjunction with the EPC contractor during FEED and implementation stages.
• Preparation of Scope of Work and Project Execution Plan for assigned scopes
• Delivery of project KPIs (HSE, performance, schedule, cost)
• Ensuring deliverables of self and others are appropriate to delivering functionally excellent results
• Providing CAPEX budget forecasting support to the Project Delivery Manager
• Close collaboration with HSE and Operations Teams to ensure safety, operability and maintainability, environmental and production requirements are delivered.
• Participation in planning, scheduling and resourcing discussions and monthly reporting
• Definition of commissioning procedures
• Update/creation of MCRs
• Update/creation of SOPs

Role is based in North Wales with significant time in Runcorn at EPC contractor offices and offshore/business travel as required.

Reports to the Project Delivery Manager.

Major interfaces : EPC Contractor, Surface Engineering, Operations, Procurement, HSE, Central Engineering

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• HND or higher qualification
• Offshore Survival / medical

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Project Management Professional Qualification
• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Chartered Engineer
• Significant oil and gas experience
