The Company:
My client, one of the leading energy services companies operate in the thermal power, nuclear, oil & gas and petrochemical industries, are currently looking to recruit a Project Planner to work within our Project Controls department

The Role:
The successful applicant will have extensive experience of planning and scheduling of project management packages for EPC projects.

Key Duties
• To provide a complete Project Planning service for nominated project.
• In association with the Project Control Manager, prepare a planing strategy and then develop a database for the Project Execution Plan
• Assign ownership for all project deliverables
• Issue project programme update reports in accordance with the requirements of the Project Control Manager and the Project Execution Plan

Key Requirements
• Extensive experience of planning and scheduling for EPC projects
• HNC/HND or equivalent level qualification in an engineering related discipline
• Preferably a degree or equivalent in and engineering related discipline
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
• Detailed knowledge and ability to operate Project planning packages - Primavera ideally
• Thorough knowledge of the essential processes including Engineering design, Procurement, Shipping and expediting for the delivery of major projects.
