The Company:
Is a major oil and gas operator.

The Role:
Taking strategic goals and changes to approach, estimating resources, time and schedules for the required activities. Facilitates coordination and integration between functions and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all planning aspects of the project are consistent with project Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements
• Develop detailed offshore manpower histograms within the POB constraints, and provide advice on the most efficient use of resources in implementing the Brownfield activities.
• Analyze the detailed Drilling, Greenfield and Brownfield engineering, procurement and installation plans, identify potential conflicts and deviations and propose solutions to optimize the overall master schedule.
• Manage the shutdown planning input to the Asset against the associated budget plan.
• Produce and issue progress S curves to allow visual representation of the baseline plan and progress.
• Providing all Planning and Scheduling services to meet the needs of the PCM and the assigned project with a customer service oriented approach
• Prepare and maintain the work breakdown structure in coordination with work and organization structures and accounting processes in liaison with the appropriate internal functions and external stakeholders
• Develop hierarchical and auditable project plans from level 0 (overall scope of work) down to level 3 as required for individual project scope of work including, at times, consultations with external stakeholders
• Ensure that all interface issues are identified, understood, documented and agreed to and that the schedule is monitored and reviewed
• Perform schedule benchmarks and schedule risk analysis for different scenarios and review the outcome with the project management team including external stakeholders (e.g. contractors, partners, etc.)
• Obtain and integrate schedule data from contractors and other external stakeholders
• Monitor and review (within the Terms & Conditions of the contract) the planning and schedule elements of contractors throughout the contract life-cycle; recommend corrective action where necessary
• Verify progress and performance against plan, identify areas of potential schedule overrun requiring corrective action, forecast completions and provide accurate and timely project reports
• Develop recovery plans to respond to negative variances in schedule and cost with appropriate stakeholders (both internal and external); initiate Change Control as needed
• Supports the preparation of the project monthly report with schedule and milestone data

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
o Proven track record illustrating a commitment to HSSE including HSSE leadership within a Project Controls team and identification and recommendation of HSSE improvements within a project
o Significant experience in developing detailed Brown Field and shutdown schedules in Primavera, identifying critical path activities, overall shutdown durations and resource requirements.
o Experience with complicated Green Field and Brown Field planning
o Technical professional with proven experience in project planning and project delivery
o Proven record in the successful planning of major oil and gas projects including management of contractor performance against these plans
o Experienced on varied EPC or EPCM contracts
o Knowledge of all phases of major oil and gas projects e.g. EPC, Commissioning, Start-up etc. and experience with the shutdown planning and schedule analytics.
o Hands-on experience with Project Controls systems and procedures supported by current software applications
