The Role:
Main purpose of the role:

The role of Project Planner in the Projects & Modifications Team is to provide planning support for design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities of the Cat C projects.

The Project Planner is responsible for the coordination of standardized detailed work packs with Project Managers, Project Engineers and the Construction team and to plan the resources accordingly.

Dimensions of the Job (Key Accountabilities)
Responsible for the planning to achieve the implementation aspects of the Project:
• Prepare and update of Baseline Schedule
• Responsible for delivery of combined Primavera plan for P&M Team
• Monitor progress and performance reports by the Contractors and highlight any risks and the critical path items on the Project schedule.
• To report upon trends toward achievements of planned milestones
• To coordinate and contribute to corrective action plans where schedule slippage has been identified.
• Distribute project schedules to relevant internal stakeholders (Construction, Operations, Security, Social, Environmental, HSE departments etc.)
• Develop plans for Engineering and Quality activity and provide planning support to Project Engineers
• Identify and monitor critical KPI’s for the project schedule.
• Assist the Project Services Team Leader/Cost Controller and Project Managers with preparing schedules and support cost estimation studies if needed.
• Work as part of the Projects Team to ensure smooth coordination between off site fabricators, construction and commissioning of all projects.
• Provide planning support to the Project Engineers who are the SPA’s (Single Point Accountability) for the safe and effective execution of Projects.
• Prepare the functional Project Plan and Schedule and be the link to the Activity Planning functional representative to ensure Level 1 schedule and all CAP activities are communicate through to the Activity Planning Group. Attend P&M 8Q Functional Review meetings which will be coordinated by central AP team.
• Liaise with AzSPU Midstream Central AP team for efficient shutdown planning and participate in preparing and implementing annual shutdown strategy (Turkey specific)
• Cost-Time-Resource Planning and monitoring for all shutdown works through traceable and transparent allocations
• Plan and monitor Area P&M Organization resource requirements
• Follow-up material delivery and logistics for projects.
• The Project Planner will be the P&M Planning ‘Focal Point’ supporting the effective delivery of planning & scheduling with accountability for ensuring execution, closeout, and lessons learned for P&M projects

The successful candidate will have to demonstrate a proven track record of safety behaviours and attitude, good communication skills and ability to work across discipline boundaries.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications Required
University Degree in Engineering or Finance

Essential experience and job requirements
• More than 5 years Planning experience
• Knowledge of Maximo
• Knowledge of Primavera P6
• Ability to run planning tools and business objects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Desirable criteria and qualifications
• Previous experience working in situations requiring self-motivation, ability to set goals and objectives, work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and have an impact on others in a non-confrontational manner.
• Experience of brownfield project planning of engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning activities
