The Role:

RESPONSIBILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrate HSE leadership by actively engaging the client's site team and construction contractors with actions that contribute to delivering on clients' HSE expectations
• Assist in the production of detailed and summary plans for the Marine and Subsea team.
• Collect regular progress information from Contractors.
• Maintain plans in Primavera P6.
• Provide inputs to weekly and monthly reports.
• Attend regular meeting and assist with communication between the Contractor and the Project Planning team.
• Actively participate in Planning and Project Team meetings.
• Apply client's planning procedures.
• Support “what if” and/or risked scheduling scenarios (as required).
• Actively observe, assess, evaluate, and determine construction activities first-hand to ensure satisfactory execution progress in accordance with the project schedule




BASIC SKILLS
• Ability to work well in a team environment of mixed-experience, mixed-nationality cost engineers at a construction site in Baku.
• Able to work to tight deadlines under pressure to consistently produce timely, accurate and high quality results.
• Influencing and communication skills in English language.
• Ability to work under own initiative and to support others.
• Excellent inter-personal skills and behaviours.
• Ability to produce good quality written reports and summary presentations – able to communicate clarity from complexity.
• Able to use Primavera version 6 (P6) and Microsoft Project planning software

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Post university experience in an engineering, technical or scientific role preferable in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience producing reports and slide presentations
• Previous planning engineering experience in oil & gas industry (preferred).
• Experience interfacing and working together with owner and contractor project services personnel (preferred).
• Experience working with internationally-based contractors (preferred).
• Experience in the use of MS office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in use of Primavera P6 and MS Project planning software
