The Role:
1). Reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager Manager (SCM). This position will function as a key member of the overall project team in all matters related to Procurement, Logistics, and Material Management.

2). Coordinates with project team members, BU SCM/Operations, project partners and the FEED/EPCI contractors to develop and implement sourcing alternatives, strategies and tactics focused primarily on major equipment and critical bulk materials that maximize commercial opportunities in support of project business drivers.

3). Works with FEED/EPCI contractors' procurement team on activities in support of development of Phase 3 cost estimate and schedule.

4). Oversees FEED/EPCI contractors' early procurement of long lead and other critical bulk materials in support of early works and overall construction completion.

5). Leads the development and management the Approved Vendors List (AVL), working with the Project Team, FEED/EPCI contractors, BU SCM/Operations, category management and ETC.

6). Lead integration of Chevron Preferred Supplier Agreements (IMAs) into project strategies where agreements align with project business drivers.

7). Establishes and implements strategies for materials standardization.

8). Establishes and implements strategies to develop and use suppliers and fabricators as a key project objective.

9). Leads Procurement/Logistics/Material Management "owner" strategies and guides the Project Team, FEED/EPCI contractors, module fabrication contractor(s), and construction contractor(s) in the implementation of processes to support these strategies.

10). Ensures collaboration between the Project Team, FEED/EPCI contractor, base business operations, and supply chain management organization to increase awareness of the major capital project activities and ensure alignment..
11). Responsibilities also include supporting project wide safety initiatives including implementation of Incident & Injury Free (IIF) and Safety Value Improving Practices (VIPs)
