The Company:
Our clients are key specialists in the Nuclear Industry. We are looking to recruit for a Project Manager who has ideally got MoD/Nuclear experience.

The Role:
Our client is looking for a Project Manager. The Project Manager will lead, direct and strategise one or a number a multi-disciplinary teams in delivering multi million pound capital projects in the nuclear industry. You will ahve experience working in an engineering and manufacturing environment

Duties are: -

• Provide strategic direction to project management team
• Team resource management including manpower need, team set up, specific recruitment needs
• Management of project KPIs e.g. Earned Value
• Client and Subcontractor Management; strategic, relationship and contractual and commercial management
• Interface with clients project management team to report update and resolve issues
• Ensure project deliverables are met in accordance with programme, quality and cost
Required Qualifications:
• Degree/HNC/HND qualified in Engineering, Scientific or Commercial discipline. Alternatively, candidates with significant appropriate experience may be considered
• PC literate in Microsoft Office suite
• UK Driving licence is essential
• Flexibility to travel to other UK offices and sites on occasion is necessary. Some overseas travel as required.
• Current security clearance is preferred though not essential. Clearance will be sponsored by the Company and all candidates MUST be eligible for SC clearance
Required Experience:
Essential:
• Significant demonstrable competence gained in Project Delivery position
• Past project management or project engineering experience is essential. This will ideally have been gained in a design or construction led field.
• Proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines
• Experienced in managing delivery from subcontractors
• Experience gained in managing delivery to clients
• Experienced gained in an highly regulated industry
