The Company:
Our Client is a Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
Full Title: Project QA/Consents Engineer
Key objectives of the job:
• Responsible for the preparation and maintaining of the project QA Plans.
• Responsible for the review of contractors QA plans
• Responsible for external project related audits
• Responsible for the timely preparations of applications and delivery of all HS&E related consents and approvals to relevant statutory authorities for all development projects including pipelines, drilling and construction activities.
• Responsible for the submission of project related consents prepared by others (as defined within the project consents and approvals plans and registers)
• Ensure all work activities comply with company management systems and procedures.

Main responsibilities
• Work closely with the project HSE manager in advising on QA consents matters for all projects
• Develop and maintain consents and approvals plans and registers
• Inspection and coordination of procured items in terms of FAT attendance of our client’s personnel and third parties.
• Focal points for the projects in terms of the independent verification body activity.
• Coordinate and ensure timely completion of supporting documentations by consultants including Environmental impact assessments, Environmental statements, safety studies, OPEP’s etc.
• Work closely with the projects team, drilling and construction teams to prepare all on and offshore environmental consents and approval required by the relevant authorities and ensure that statutory notifications are made.
• Conduct QHSE audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Manage quality aspects internally and externally throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience
• Consents and approval planning skills
• Good analytical skills
• Broad knowledge of current regulatory regime and consent process for UK onshore and offshore O&G projects

Experience
• 5+ Years plus planning and consents approval involvement in UK offshore O&G industry.
• Worked in a similar position in an operator role.
