Project Quality Engineer

The Role:
The Project Quality Engineer (PQE) is supporting our projects by facilitating state of the art quality management methods, technics and tools to ensure a high quality product is delivered each and every time. This function is intended to act as a partner with the PjM and Project team to provide transparency on project quality to all relevant stakeholders.

Throughout the milestones, the PQE coaches the proper application of the Product Development Process (PDP) and M-gate deliverables tailoring. Develops adequate risk mitigation plans by the facilitation of System-, Design- and Process-FMEAs and Risk based assessments.

 Support and partner with project team to ensure compliance to Quality Assurance processes by tailoring and executing the Project Quality Plan (PQP) according the project specification and process deliverables
 Coach the proper application of the Product Development Process (PDP) and M-gate deliverables tailoring
 Conduct M-gate readiness reviews to ensure the Project has the appropriate level of maturity to proceed M-gate
 Drive the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of risks by facilitating the System-, Design- and Process-FMEAs
 Partner with the Project Manager (PjM) to identify, evaluate, and mitigate Project risks
 Provide guidance and support for the project team in the interpretation of quality standards (ISO, Environmental Compliance, RoHS, etc.)
 Ensure test plans are developed based on defined processes and participate in Test Plan and Test Result reviews
 Partner with the PjM to capture Lessons Learned after each M-gate in order to collect inputs to share the final Lessons Learned at M75
 Report and escalate project Quality issues to appropriate management level according to Project Quality Management Process
 Support and participate in the PQE community globally to ensure Device/HW/FW/SW/SYS quality best practices are shared between projects
 Develop, maintain and improve business processes, policies and procedures in alignment within the Group Quality Organization
Responsible for the adherence of the clients End User IT Security policy and Baseline IT Security policy. Report any IT related security incidents as outlined in the appropriate IT Security policy

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Experience in Hardware, embedded SW (FW), and Device development for industrial systems.
 Experience in working in Quality driving continuous improvement activities, delivering robust business processes, and product quality
 Experienced in root cause analysis, problem solving techniques, implementing preventative and corrective actions
 Experience developing and employing Quality standards and best practices

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or related discipline
