The Company:
A Major Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
Position Purpose:
•Provide Quality Assurance Support to all Onshore Project teams in the US.
•Evaluate the quality performance of Project EPCM firms assuring compliance to client requirements.
•Responsible for training and communication of the Quality Management System within projects.
•Conduct and/or manage pre-qualification audits and surveillance of suppliers and service providers

Principal Accountabilities:
•Conduct Internal Shell Quality Assurance Audits.
•Support and/or execute external QA audits of the EPCMs, suppliers and service providers for compliance to projects specific POs.
•Actively demonstrate support for the corporate position on health, safety, sustainable development, diversity, respectful workplace and the General Business Principles and Code of Ethics.
•Assist in the development of client's (internal) Quality Assurance documents and processes.
•Monitor external non-compliance report (NCR) process, verify Corrective Actions are performed.
•Support the projects Continuous Improvement initiatives (focus quality improvement).
•Support construction quality assurance activities
•Responsible for reporting on monthly Project Quality KPIs

Special Challenges:
•Assure Shell Quality principles have been clearly aligned and adopted by external and internal project teams.
•Demonstrate the ability to understand and balance the integrated business functions of technical and management requirements into an effective quality management system.
•Coordinate inputs from engineering specialists and project implementation staff having competing work execution priorities with Quality Assurance
•Demonstrate the ability to drive implementation of Onshore Projects Quality Management System requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience and Qualifications required:
•Assure Quality principles have been clearly aligned and adopted by external and internal project teams.
•Demonstrate the ability to understand and balance the integrated business functions of technical and management requirements into an effective quality management system.
•Coordinate inputs from engineering specialists and project implementation staff having competing work execution priorities with Quality Assurance
•Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Standards
•Minimum 10 years experience in managing multiple concurrent projects
