The Company:
Our client is a nuclear specialist, covering both civilian and defence sectors, across the complete lifecycle from New Build, through Operations and Maintenance, to final decommissioning and waste disposal.

The Role:
Main purpose of the role:

* Working as part of multiple project delivery teams to provide professional advice and guidance on the risks and opportunities associated with meeting client, regulatory and legal requirements and stakeholder expectations

Key responsibilities as a Project Quality Lead…
* Identify, report and advise on risks and opportunities
* Support action to address risk findings
* Use risk management to ensure the application of appropriate assurance
* Build relationships with project stakeholders
* Advise on the application of governance, assurance and improvement
* Drive the culture of planning for quality through the delivery process
* Work with the tendering team to plan for quality
* Support and co-ordinate Inspectors and Project Quality Advisors
* Identify commercially viable resource demands for quality support on projects
* Ensure the system of management is effective, current and conforms to the contract requirements
* Tailor the default management system for contractual demands
* Develop the supply chain to support them in achieving the demands of the nuclear industry
* Identify and implement opportunities for improvement or good practice
* Support the delivery of the quality awareness programme
* Use root cause analysis tools to resolve issues and learn from experience

Position of the Project Quality Lead within the organisation:

Reporting to the Regional Quality Lead you will be interacting with all levels of internal customers as well as liaising with suppliers and clients.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
◦Relevant experience in a quality risk management system role gained in a highly regulated industry
◦Be working towards Chartered or Practitioner status with the Chartered Quality Institute
◦A highly developed problem solving ability
◦Demonstrable experience of delivering projects through the full lifecycle
◦Experience with production of tenders
◦Be experienced in using appropriate quality tools to identify risks and opportunities
◦Previous audit experience and relevant audit qualification(s) is required
◦The ability to obtain or maintain Security Clearance is an essential requirement.
◦Be approachable, organised, collaborative, and communicative.
◦A quality & service driven attitude.
◦A full UK drivers licence as travelling to site will be required
